Lyrics

GRAVEYARD TRAIN
Words and music by John Fogerty

On the highway,
thirty people lost their lives.

On the highway,
thirty people lost their lives.

I had some words to holler,
and my Rosie took a ride.

In the moonlight,
see the Greyhound rollin' on.

In the moonlight,
see the Greyhound rollin' on.

Flyin' through the crossroads,
Rosie ran into the Hound.

For the graveyard,
thirty boxes made of bone.

For the graveyard,
thirty boxes made of bone.

Mister Undertaker,
take this coffin from my home.

In the midnight,
here me cryin' out her name.

In the midnight,
here me cryin' out her name.

I'm standin' on the railroad,
waitin' for the Graveyard Train.

On the highway,
thirty people turned to stone.

On the highway,
thirty people turned to stone.

Oh, take me to the station,
'Cause I'm number thirty-one'.

Subject: Have You Ever Seen The Rain

I'm almost sure I posted this not too long ago. I got this from a tab book of
CCR. I believe the chorus uses the moving bassline and slash chords as opposed
to the minor chords.

Could someone please send this to Nevada FTP because I'm not sure how to.

The chorus uses a moving bass line which is incorporated into the chords.

chords:

		6 5 4 3 2 1
                -----------
	Am x 0 2 2 1 0
	F	1 3 3 2 1 1
	C	x 3 2 0 1 0
	G	3 2 0 0 0 3
	C/B	x 2 x 0 1 0
	Am/G	3 0 2 2 1 0

Someone told me long ago, there's a calm before the storm, I know

                       C
and its been coming for some time. When its over so they say it'll rain

                    G C
a sunny day, I know, shinin' down like water.

Chorus:
F G C C/B Am Am/G F

G C C/B Am Am/G F G
know, have you ever seen the rain, comin' down on a sunny

    C
day. ( with bass fill)

Additional Lyrics:

2nd verse:

Yesterday and days before,
Sun is cold and rain is hot.
I know, been that way for all my time.

'Til forever on it goes
through the circle fast and slow,
I know, and I can't stop. I wonder.
